Ziel ist es, auf Basis einer theoretisch konzeptionellen Ebene die Grundlage für normative Ausgestaltungsempfehlungen der Strategieentscheidungen innerhalb von Internationalisierungsstrategien auf Basis von Vertrauen zu erarbeiten. Darauf aufbauend soll im dritten Kapitel darüber Klärung verschafft werden, welche Besonderheit bezüglich der Vertrauensbildung zwischen deutschen und chinesischen Geschäftspartnern in Joint Ventures bestehen. Zusätzlich soll erarbeitet werden, welche Einflüsse die chinesische Kultur auf die Bildung von Vertrauen in deutsch-chinesischen Joint Ventures hat und welchen Zusammenhang diese mit dem erfolgreichen Abschließen solch internationaler Geschäftsbeziehungen besitzt. Auf Basis der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse sollen in Kapitel 4 Implikationen für eine erfolgreiche Internationalisierungsstrategie im Fokus auf die chinesische Geschäftswelt ermittelt werden. Dieser soll sich in einem Leitfaden für eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit von deutschen und chinesischen Geschäftspartnern konkretisieren. Im fünften Kapitel werden die Ergebnisse resümiert und das Vertrauenskonstrukt abschließend kritisch hinterfragt.
